Napps has been a Longview company since 1957 and is still owned by the same family. That is unusual in this industry now, and it changes what working here is like: decisions are made in this building, and the people who make them know the technicians by name.
Napps Cooling, Heating & Plumbing — Longview & East Texas since 1957
We offer a competitive salary and package. Applications are welcome at any time, whether or not there is a posting open — we keep them on file and consider every applicant when a position becomes available.
Experienced Technician. If you have what it takes to be part of a dynamic team, fill out the application below.
Technical ability matters, but it is not the whole thing. The habits that define the work here are diagnosing properly rather than replacing the first plausible part, measuring rather than estimating, and telling a customer the honest answer even when it is the smaller sale. Those are teachable if the attitude is right, and we would rather train the right person than hire the wrong one with a longer resume.
Teaching has been part of this company since the beginning — the founder taught air conditioning and refrigeration courses at Longview High School, Kilgore College and local trade schools while running the business. Our facility includes dedicated training areas, and we are NATE certified and Bryant Factory Authorized, which brings manufacturer training with it.
No posting that fits you? Apply anyway. We keep applications on file and review them when new positions open.
These come straight from our Google Business Profile — unedited, and updated automatically as new reviews come in.

Yes, and we would encourage it. We post opportunities as they become available, but we keep applications in our database and consider all applicants when new positions open.
Experienced Technician is the current posting. Postings change, so if you are interested in something else, apply anyway and tell us what you do — we will consider you when a suitable role opens.
Attitude and aptitude carry a lot of weight with us, and training has been part of this company since the founder taught refrigeration courses locally while running it. Tell us honestly where you are and what you want to learn.
Out of our Longview facility on Cotton Street, covering Longview and the East Texas counties around it. The service area page shows the ground our crews cover.
No. It is an independent, family-owned Longview company, run by the founder’s son since 1975. Decisions are made here rather than at a regional office somewhere else.
